Everything for Car Wars Fourth Edition has been out of print since 1996. Three products for Car Wars Fourth Edition became available on e23 last year.

There are four other automotive combat games, recently released or being playtested, using 1:64 diecast cars.

Axles and Alloys 2
Outrider
Speed Rally
Warlands

I have further information about these games on my small Web site. You are welcome to e-mail me to discuss automotive combat gaming. I have an e-mail address listed on my Web site.

Car Wars... is that still in print? I actually used to own the boxed set and an expansion or two... chances are I still have it around here somewhere. Maybe I'll look into what's out there now for it. Thanks!

It might be strange but I have been alternating my purchases, one new gaming item and one old. I have started buying stuff that I played when I was young and really enjoyed but never was able to buy or play more then a couple of times. My recommendation is Car Wars by Steve Jackson Games.

Hm, I'll give it a listen. I liked the Firefly series, though I've never tried the RPG.

Thanks!

The guy behind Gorillaz recently released Monkey: Journey to the West...it's the soundtrack to the stage adaptation of the 16th century Chinese epic...I picked it up the other day; good stuffs...great background gaming music...epic enough for your standard D&D game, but with a little asian/futuristic twang that make it perfect for a game themed likewise (Firefly RPG, anyone?)...
